Remote Compass Adjustment allows compass corrections to be made anytime and anywhere, saving time, fuel, and money. In addition, it helps engage the captain and crew more actively in the ship’s operational processes.

Service Overview
Operational policy for deviations
When, after adjustment, all compass points show bearings within the acceptable limit, we submit the new, valid deviation card to the vessel by e-mail and/or dispatch the original to the office by courier.
If the observed deviations on headings are ≤ 3°, we issue a new deviation table.
If any heading shows a deviation > 3°, we provide instructions to the crew to carry out a compass adjustment.

According to ISO 25862, a compass must be adjusted at least every two years. However, several classification societies and flag administrations require an annual review and update of the deviation table, and some compass manufacturers also recommend annual adjustment.
By updating the deviation table every year, you not only ensure full compliance with all regulations but also maintain the highest navigation accuracy.
